Win A Detective Dot Megapack!

We received a Detective Dot Megapack FOC

Today I am happy to be sharing a new ‘edutainment’ toy with you and giving one of you the chance to win one. We have received a free Detective Dot Megapack here and I know that it will be a hit on Christmas Day!

Detective Dot is a coding adventure perfect for children aged 7+, mapped against the UK curriculum. Through fun and interactive offline activities, underpinned in computer science, kids learn a range of STEM skills, such as how to protect their identity online and spot fake news – 21st century skills for today’s children.

Sealed in a top secret envelope, Detective Dot arrives in the post addressed to your agent and contains a personalised letter from the CIA, a membership card, a Detective Dot book, six missions (requiring just pen and paper) and a sticker sheet. Further missions and digital spy tools can be accessed for free via the Detective Dot app and website. Detective Dot is printed and made sustainably in Britain by fairly-paid workers. On top of this, for every book sold, they give free learning materials to schools.

The main character, Detective Dot, is a young British-Asian girl tech whizz. She stands out in a world where diverse, strong female characters are still few and far between. As a member of the CIA, the Children’s Intelligence Agency, watch your child as they enter the secret global network of young spies, working together to investigate teenage trillionaire Shelly Belly.

Take a look at the video below and find out all about Detective Dot here.

What do you think? Would this be something that your children would enjoy? Boo was introduced to coding at school a year or two ago and it really captured her interest. She has a couple of coding books that she enjoys using so I know that she’s going to love this with the added element of being on a top secret mission.

Competition Time!

To be in with a chance of winning a Detective Dot Megapack you can enter using the rafflecopter below. The competition closes at 12am 29th November 2019 and is open to UK entrants aged over 18 only. Good luck!
