We’re Looking Forward to….

Spring is in the air, and we’ve a few fun outings lined up that the kids and I are really looking forward to…

Hatton Adventure World

Hatton Adventure World are running their Easter Eggstravaganza from Saturday 19th March to Sunday 10th April 2016. With a choc-o-bloc array of Spring Newborns and miniature donkeys to look forward to visiting, along with Easter egg hunts, Zoobee’s Jungle Jamboree Show, tractor rides, bouncy castles, panning for gold as well as all the usual animals plus indoor and outdoor adventure play.

We’re thinking we’ll take a picnic along and make a day of it, and the kids are really looking forward to getting back there. We went along to their Easter fun a couple of years ago, and loved it.

Disney On Ice

Oh, the excitement we have for this one! The children love going to see a show and the fact that this is of an evening makes it extra special as they rarely go out ‘at night’! This is the Disney on Ice Silver Anniversary Celebration and it’s touring the country now.

This fun filled tour visits the magical worlds of Disney’s The Lion King, The Little Mermaid and Peter Pan before whisking the audience away to the wintery wonderland of Disney’s Frozen, the ultimate sightseeing holiday with all your favourite Disney characters.

Little Man loves Peter Pan and Boo adores Frozen, so I just know that this is going to be a hit. This will be our first Disney On Ice outing, and I’m looking forward to seeing the kids little faces as they watch it. I’ll report back!

Wychwood Festival

We all thoroughly enjoyed our day out at Wychwood last year, so are eagerly anticipating this year’s visit.

Wychwood festival activities

This year’s acts include The Waterboys, Bill Bailey, 10cc, Craig Charles, Stereo MCs, Justin Fletcher, Ms Dynamite and so many more. There’ll also be over 100 bands on 4 stages, over 100 workshops for all ages, a kids literature festival, comedy, great food and a Real Ale festival. So much to see and do!

We joined English Heritage a few weeks ago, so we have a lovely long list of places to visit with them lined up. We’re off to Yorkshire for a break soon, so we’ll be making the most of it up there, too.

It’s shaping up to be an exciting few months!

Disclosure: We’ll receive entry FOC to some of these events

Sharing is caring!
