Warm Three-Cheese-Stuffed Bread

Warm three-cheese-stuffed bread is a title that would definitely get my attention. This is comfort food at its finest and its simplest, which is always a bonus.

Now I should preface this post with two things; firstly, to name it a ‘recipe’ is really a stretch too far, it’s more a case of grabbing a few things and tossing them together, and secondly, once you try this you will want it again and again and again!

This one came about after I spotted this delicious-looking Cheese and Garlic Crack Bread over on Pinterest and I knew it was one that we’d want to try, though modified a little.

Whilst we do all eat garlic bread, I do sometimes find the garlic a little over-powering and I wanted this to be all about the cheese and even easier to make, so warm three-cheese-stuffed bread it was.

Now I have listed what we used, but I’d say just go for your favourite cheeses, the more the better, right?!

Warm Three-Cheese-Stuffed Bread Ingredients

Bloomer Unsliced Loaf
2 heaped tbsp of butter
Large handful of grated Parmesan
Large handful of grated Cheddar cheese
Large handful of sliced mozzarella cheese

Warm Three-Cheese-Stuffed Bread Recipe

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F)

Line a baking tray with tinfoil and place your bloomer on it.

Cut your loaf diagonally from end to end, and then do the same again in the opposite direction.

When cutting, cut down to around an inch off the base of the bread so that you’re not cutting through to the bottom.

Melt your butter, grate your cheese and slice your mozzarella. You’ll then have ready all that you need to stuff the bread with.

Drizzle the melted butter in to the gaps first. Then add the three cheeses into them.

We popped the mozzarella in first and then mixed the grated Parmesan and Cheddar together in a bowl and stuffed that in.

Pop another piece of tinfoil over the top of the loaf and then bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then remove tinfoil and bake for a further 5 minutes.

Serve, tear and enjoy!

This is already becoming something of a weekend tradition for us to eat, as we all love it and even though it is so easy to do, it feels like a special treat.

What do you think? Is this something you’ll be trying?

Sharing is caring!
