Teddy Bear Trail

As regular readers will know, we’re big fans of our National Trust days out. We’re lucky in that we have plenty of places to explore around us, being so central, and so we’re still enjoying getting out and about discovering new ones every few weeks. When I spotted that Hanbury Hall had a teddy bear event on, I knew that is was a good day to go and play!

The hall and gardens were beautiful…

And with Little Man armed with his bear, we were ready!

Hanbury Hall Teddy Bear Trail

We had to find 10 teddy bear pictures and answers questions about each one. They were all dotted about in the grounds, so we darted this way and that, checking our handy little map.

Boo loved finding them all, with her bear being cuddled throughout! When we’d completed the trail, we rounded off our trip with the play area, our bears looking on, of course….

Simple fun, with plenty of running around a fresh air. We all loved our day out.

I loved seeing both of the kids clutching their bears tightly, while they did the trail – it was lovely 🙂

It was great! They always love just tearing around the grounds and gardens anyway, but this made it that bit more special for them 🙂

  1. You’ve reminded me that we used to go there a lot with my daughter but have yet to take my son-we must go! Looks a lot of fun and I love Boo’s face with her teddy next to the picture 🙂
