Spotlight Stationery Box Revealed

Today I am sharing my Spotlight Stationery Box review.

I have received a new stationery subscription box, from the lovely folks over at Spotlight Stationery, so let me share all about it with you.

“Every month we curate a selection of contemporary stationery for our subscribers. We choose only premium brands and artisan products, including items you won’t commonly find on the high street. We make a donation to the National Star College for every sale that we make.”

You can opt for Monthly or bi-monthly subscriptions as well as one-off purchases of past boxes, all for £25 a box.

The box arrives in a handy letterbox sized parcel and as you can imagine, I was very keen to open mine up and explore the contents, so here you can watch the full unboxing….

And here are a few snaps of the beautiful contents…

Spotlight Stationery Box Review

This month’s theme is ‘Type’ and includes Monograph notebooks from Bath based Portico Designs, 2 pencils featuring a font and illustrations by British designer Eric Ravilious, a Clever Cats greetings card with a Victorian feel to it and a bookmark featuring a collection of vintage typefaces.

Finally, there’s the set of postcards featuring the work of young illustrators.

All of the products feel of a good quality, and Spotlight Stationery does work to source both up and coming illustrators as well as working with established brands such as Castelli, Leuchtturm 17 and Paper-Oh.

This is unlike some of the stationery boxes that I have reviewed (check out Stationery Subscription Boxes) in that whilst there is a monthly theme, it is not all from one designer or illustrator.

I do like the versatility that that offers as it means there’s likely to be something for all tastes there.

I like the inclusion of the monthly theme, and typography is really appealing to me personally.

Again, for me, a bookmark is always going to be well-received, post cards are perfect for me and my love of snail mail, and I struggle to imagine any stationery fan not appreciating new notebooks, and these two do have a really luxurious feel to them.

I am already looking forward to using everything from this box full of papery goodness!

What do you think of Spotlight Stationery?

Disclosure: I received the box FOC for the purposes of this post

Sharing is caring!
