Siblings – May

Little Man’s been enjoying more freedom from the pushchair on our outings lately, which means he’s tearing about the place and desperate to do everything that his sister does. She calls him and runs off, he chases. They are partners in crime. Where one goes, the other will follow. Often into mischief, though if I’m lucky, sometimes just into companionable peace.

It’s been great to get so much time out in the sunshine lately. Trips to farms, parks, playgrounds and National Trust sites have filled our free time. They are both so happy to be out in the fresh air, little explorers together.

I love watching them, especially on the odd occasions that they pause for a moment, though lately, it’s been more a case of trying to keep up!

    1. They really are. They’re currently playing together on my bed – lots of giggling going on! Thanks x

  1. My Boo and Little Man have almost exactly the same age gap (although a couple of years older) and they are still really close. They hold hands walking to school most days and it’s so sweet.
It’s lovely to see your two having so much fun together 🙂

  2. They look so happy together! By the way, your little man has grown up so much since I started following you in January! Times just flies with gorgeous little people, doesn’t it? x Mel

    1. I love that one. She is always holding or protecting him like that. He’s used to it, though he’ll occasionally shake her off!

  3. WOW I can’t believe how grown up they both look since I first started following you. It’s amazing. I love the hand around his shoulders at the end. That melts my heart. So sweet. Framer for sure. What a lovely round of sibling photos I really wasn’t organized this month and wish I had been everyone has some fabulous siblings photos to coo over. #siblings

    1. Your photos are gorgeous! They do seem to be growing so quickly, and they are very close. Thanks, Jenny x

  4. Siblings AND friends – such a great combination for having such fun together. How great to be able to get out now the weather is improving. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.

  5. Oh why is the feeling of chasing after the children hoping they might stay still long enough for a photo so very very familiar!! You’ve captured some gorgeous moments of the two of them though so I salute your chasing skills!

    1. Thanks so much. She does that to him a lot, especially when they’re out as she likes to look out for him – very sweet 🙂

    1. Thanks! That’s the closest I came to them sort of looking in a similar direction, from the 10 shots I took!

    1. Thanks, Kriss. She does adore him and want to look after him, even when he clearly doesn’t want it himself!

  6. Oh I love the last photo, what a sweet moment to have captured. It’s amazing when you see them start to play together and be partners in crime, although that does add a whole new level of parenting when they team up against you!!

  7. That last photo is gorgeous, so loving and tender! (Although as the youngest of four I know it’s not always like that!)

  8. Great pics! Don’t want to wish time awa but definitely looking forward to when my two can do things together like your gorgeous kiddies!

    1. Thank you! No, I know what you mean. You want to enjoy every moment, but look forward to the fun stuff!
