Siblings March 2019

Mid-March already, I can’t believe where this year is going. It does mean that it’s time for this month’s siblings update…

We’ve been really busy at home and in the garden and whilst the Husband and I have been getting things done, these two have been happily playing with each other. They have loved it! They don’t tend to struggle to entertain themselves, though I’d say it’s rarely with the many toys and games they have, it’s normally just some made up game that keeps them happy. I have heard them playing detectives, Super Mario, in Boo’s new under-bed den and superheroes in recent weeks. They also like to spend time together drawing, colouring and reading, which is always nice for some quieter time! I’d say the only thing that they really argue over is the TV – why it this such a battleground?! Fortunately they do like some of the same shows and films, and they tend to take it in turns.

With the glimpses of spring weather, we’ve been making the most of it and getting outside whenever we can. It’s a welcome break from home projects and we have all been enjoying the fresh air and adventures. We are fortunate to live near to a lovely park and there are several more that we enjoy all about half an hour away. We have also been getting back into using our National Trust membership, as we’d not used it since Christmas. They are always great places to visit and the kids have been making the most of the outside spaces, running and running and running!

Here they are this month, enjoying some spring sunshine…

Boo aged 9 years and 5 months old, Little Man aged 6 years and 6 months old. Love them.
