Red Candy Gifts

I brought Red Candy to you earlier this year, by way of my top picks with them. I spent a lot of time browsing their website and there were so many items that tempted me. So when they got in touch with me recently, it was not easy selecting just a few products to share with you today. Red Candy are great at offering funky homeware and gift ideas, so I had a little think about things that I wanted around the home and set about choosing…

I love having photos of the kids dotted around, so when I spotted this multi picture frame I knew it would be perfect for our fireplace.

I like the matt black, working well with our hearth, and all frames are the same size, 6×4. The whole frame has just one back on it, rather than 6, so all of the photos are positioned together and then the frame is fastened back together, so it takes very little time to do. I did realise that we hadn’t printed any photos out for a long time, so this was also a useful reminder to print off our favourites from time to time!

I was drawn to the fruit baskets as I’d been meaning to get a new one ever since we gave our kitchen a makeover earlier this year. There are many to choose from, but I went for the Blomus Sonora fruit basket in the end, as I liked it being square rather than round for something a little different.

It’s stainless steel and feels chunky without being heavy. Yes, it’s just a fruit basket to you, but to me, it’s the stylish finishing touch to our kitchen. I really like it.

Finally, the Husband had his eye on these Sagaform whiskey stones. Now I’d not heard of them before, but when he started to tell my brother about them at the weekend, he knew all about them, too – they do like quirky ideas like this!

They have not disappointed. They feel very smooth and cold to the touch initially anyway, and then you pop them into your freezer ready for when you want them. They are substitutes to ice cubes, and being granite, they don’t melt away like ice cubes or dilute your drink. Simple yet brilliant! These are currently reduced to £12.50 and I can see them making an interesting gift, being stylish, useful and a little unusual.

The whole delivery came within a few days of placing the order, in one well-packaged box. The range, the service and the product quality all lead to me recommending them, as well as the fact that they’re a local company to me, based in Birmingham. Do check them out, you’re bound to be inspired.

What do you think of my Red Candy selections?
