Proud to be Working with HUGGIES Pull-Ups

I am really pleased to share that this year I’m going to be working with a great brand, HUGGIES Pull-Ups, which means that I’m going to be talking a fair bit about potties and wee here. Fair warning!

Little Man will be three in September, so my thoughts are turning to potty training. We’ve had a few chats about it, he’s open to the idea of it all and he’s very excited by his potty training HUGGIES Pull-up pants and his Bumble Bee My Carry Potty. I think getting him interested and excited about this next step is really important, so we will see how it goes and I will keep you updated on our progress.

Through starting my work with HUGGIES Pull-Ups, I was interested to learn more about the potty training pants. They’re not nappies, they are much more like pants and are specifically designed to help make potty training easier. They are much lighter, super stretchy and make it easy for little hands to pull them up and down. HUGGIES Pull-Ups have Disney graphics on them for added appeal and easy open sides for ease of use and to help parents check on little accidents. The feature that I can see being of real help when training is the new learning liner. This allows the child to feel wet for a few moments so that they understand that they have had a wee, before then absorbing moisture away from them and protecting their skin. They have the flexibility and ‘big boy’ feel of pants, whilst saving on the mess like nappies. Best of both worlds! The learning liner teaches a child to learn the difference between wet and dry and aims to teach them to ultimately stay dry on their own.

I’ll be bringing you tips and ideas on potty training here, and I’d also recommend visiting the useful www.pottytraining.co.uk for advice, too.

Here are the ‘8 signs of readiness’ to look out for, to see if your little one is ready to start potty training. If they show a few of these signs, then they may well be able to start….

I’d say that with Little Man, we’re ticking points 1, 3 and 6, so we’re definitely getting there. A new milestone is upon us. As I say, I will share more with you soon, and in the meantime, I have a lovely treat for you.

To celebrate my ambassadorship with HUGGIES Pull-Ups, I’m happy to be able to offer one of my lucky readers a pair of tickets to the Baby and Toddler Show in Manchester this coming October. The show’s on 9-11th October, and the winner can choose the day that they wish to visit. To be in with a chance of winning, use the rafflecopter below and let me know what you like about HUGGIES Pull-Ups. Give-away closes at 12am 15th June 2015 and it is open to UK entrants only. Good luck!

  1. I will definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for these posts in the future. The girls are 2 in a few months and although we may be a way away from potty training they are showing signs of wanting to sit on the potties we brought to get them used to them so fingers crossed it goes as easy as it did with Charlie x

  2. I used Huggies Pull Ups with both my children and found them really useful to help with the preparation for toilet training. I’ve only just stopped using them for my son overnight too. Good luck with it all, I found the experience totally different with both children x

  3. Will DEFO be watching this with interest as my boy is going to starting in the summer. The many dooms. Good luck! (we shall have to have a potty party. That’s how I cracked my girl) x
