Oasis Winter Shopper Review

Back before I had children, I liked choosing new bags. You know, in the days before a change bag was all that I carried about all the time! Well, I’ve been indulging myself again recently, and have chosen this rather lovely tote bag from House of Fraser’s handbag department…

It’s the Oasis Winter Shopper, and it is making me happy!

First off, I like the colour. The tan shade goes nicely with any colour, and as I’m often in jeans, it always suits. It’s also that great mix where it could go with a dressy outfit, or be very casual. It’s roomy and large, too, so I’ll take you inside…

Just look at all of those little nooks and crannies! I do like compartments inside my bags, makes things so much easier to find things and keep my phone and keys separate. It’s also handy having both the tote handles and the over shoulder strap, which is adjustable and nice and long, and as I’m 5 ft 10, that’s appreciated. I like to wear it across my body with the strap, and yes, it’s long enough to do that, too.

Oh, and that is not all….

I really hadn’t expected the bag to come apart and effectively form two bags either. There are press studs inside keeping the one within the other.

As the Husband points out, if I buy too much as I’m out and about, I can double up on my bags then. That is savvy shopping, and carte blanche to buy too much, I feel!

I think for the price, £30, this represents really good value. Especially if you view it as two bags in one! I’m really happy with it.

What do you think?

  1. That bag looks lovely, well made and big enough for most eventualities. I desperately need a new bag, I will go take a look at this range! x
