My Mum’s Garden

With this week’s photography lesson being all about nature, and then popping over to my mum’s house for a visit, it seemed clear that I needed to have a poke around her garden and take some photos…

It was lovely to see so many signs of new flowers coming through, though everywhere was a little soggy!

    1. Thanks 🙂 Before – these are with my little point and shoot on Monday. I can’t wait to try nature with my new camera!

  1. I love all the rain drops, they always look gorgeous in pictures. I’m looking forward to the shots you manage to take with your new camera, I bet you can’t wait.

  2. Your photos are amazing. I wish I knew someone that had a garden that had anything blooming. it’s all dead, gloom, grey, and twiggy here. I hope it’s ok I link up with my outdoor pictures but of people not gardens. I did attempt a tree or too. Guess I need to live somewhere more beautiful to keep up with all these amazing shots. Very impressed. What’s next week’s topic so I can prepare and practice. 😉

    1. Thank you. yes, of course, link up with whatever you like. Next week, we have ‘landscapes’-I’m looking forward to that one 🙂

  3. there is lots going on at your mum’s garden. so much spring coming through already. love the shot of the little purple and yellow flowers with rain drops on them.

  4. Beautiful! I love the raindrops on the petals and the dark silhouette ones especially – oh and the fragility of the last one. So nice to be out in the garden, even at this time of year (although totally not fun in the gales and rain!)

Gorgeous shots – here’s to hoping for a dry week ahead *tries to look optimistic*

Thanks for joining in and sharing again! x

  5. Look at your wonderful garden photos Mrs – hope my post was useful! Sounds you’ve been having fun taking them outdoors and dodging the rain. I do love that rain drops add a new dimension though. You are going to love that new camera 🙂

    1. Thank you! Your post was incredibly useful, thanks. Yes, while I don’t like all of this rain, I do think it’s pretty to photograph. My camera is now ready to use :-)!
