I was interested to explore the Compare4Kids website recently. They’re running a blogger competition to win some presents for the children in time for Christmas, and are asking us to pop over and use their Gift Finder facility, with Boo’s help, of course! I was intrigued…
The gift finder is really simple to use – Boo found it easy to navigate, too.
You select whether the gift is for a girl or a boy, then you click on their age, select your budget, and click ‘Go!’. Simple.
Now, as we were doing this together, Boo had a whale of a time making her selections, as you can imagine a 4 year-old would ;-). We discussed what she’d like to look for, and she decided she’d like to go for 1 big thing and then look at ‘everything else’ – well, you’ve gotta explore all avenues, I guess! She also remembered to look for something for her little brother, as she hates for him to miss out on anything – very sweet. So the list looked something like this…
Princess Castle Play Tent – Not on the High Street
Disney Princess Rapunzel Deluxe Styling Head – The Entertainer
Ballerina Jewellery Box – John Lewis
Barn Bean Bag – The Kids Window
I was impressed with how easy the site was to navigate, and such a good idea. Lots of retailers are on there, including The Entertainer, Argos, John Lewis, ELC, Hamleys, Not On The High Street – there is a good selection. I can see this being useful to get ideas from the children for gifts, and I’d use it more for inspiration for gifts for others – friends’ children, the birthday girl at a party and so on. It is easy and fast, with your being able to set your budget, and then you can click straight through to purchase it. I will be using this again, I’m sure!
