Christmas Cards From Zazzle

If you’re anything like me, you’ll be thinking about your Christmas cards around about now. I like to get mine written towards the end of this month, ready to send in early December.

I used to sell cards, and I used to sell them because I love them. I’m one of those people who spends quite some time selecting cards, greetings or Christmas. So I took great delight popping over to Zazzle to make my selections this year.

If you’ve not visited Zazzle before, then you are in for something of a treat, albeit a somewhat overwhelming treat at times. Where their Christmas cards are concerned, there are hundreds and thousands of design choices and as so many different independent designers are involved, the variety is huge meaning that there is bound to be something to suit everyone’s taste. They are also brilliant at offering customisation options, so cards can have photos on them, as well as your being able to change the colours, designs and add writing in many cases. When you do go for the add writing option, there are stacks of different fonts to choose from along with a full colour board.

As you can imagine, I was there selecting for quite some time! I chose the designs that I loved, then moved on to customising some of the cards, too, for friends and family.

Here are a few of my selections, without revealing too many as there is a risk that the recipients might see theirs…

The cards are lovely and thick, and these all have a glossy finish, as you can probably see. Some cards come with writing inside, whereas others are blank for your own message. The cards have a sheen on them, which did make me wonder whether they would be easy enough to write on. Testing it out, I’m reassured to find that they are, and I tried both biro and gel pen, both coming out perfectly. All are supplied with white envelopes.

I also got our Thank You cards in ready, as I do like to send these out for the kids’ gifts each year…

It took me around an hour to make all of my selections and customise where I needed to, a system that I found quite easy to use. It was a simple way to get all of my cards ordered together, saving me from searching and queuing in shops, which I definitely appreciate. From order placement to them arriving, it was a little over a week, as of course many designs were individually printed and they all came out exactly as I’d envisioned from the order, and every print was of a good quality and to my specifications.

The cards can be ordered in whatever numbers you require, whether you just want 1 or 100 of a design, and some designs offer a discount when buying in greater numbers. Most cards are priced from £2.35-£2.60.
