Children’s First Aid Kit Review & Give-Away

When Premier Healthcare & Hygiene got in touch recently, it was the long overdue prompt I needed to sort ourselves out with a First Aid kit for the kids.

We always have plasters in the house and Calpol, plenty of cold remedies and the other its and bobs, but we’ve not got any other first aid products in. Now, knowing my children, indeed most children, this is a huge oversight on our part, and I’m pleased that we do now have this kit, though I’m hoping that we won’t have to use it.

It has everything that I’d expected it to have, and comes in a handy and sturdy little bag, too. When Little Man cut open his foot recently, this would have been a very welcome addition, though we’d still have made the dash to A&E, we could have cleaned and protected his foot in the meantime.

The first aid kit includes:

Alcohol Free Wipes 2
Creature Plasters 9
5cm Conforming Bandage 1
Vinyl Gloves Pair
5cm x 5cm Low Adherent Dressing 1
Triangular Bandage 1
1.25cm x 5m Microporous tape 1
20ml Eye Wash Pod

This is going to live in the glove box in our car now, so that we’re always prepared on days out, and it’s also just outside the house if ever we need it at home, too. I’m also optimistic that now we have one, we won’t need one, as things seem to work that way!

I do have one Children’s First Aid Kit available to give away to one of my readers. To be in with a chance of winning it, simply enter using the rafflecopter below. Give-away ends 28th September 2014, open to UK entrants only.

  1. I love your elf takeover ones – we did elf on the shelf last year and will be looking at your posts this year for some ideas!

  2. I liked Banana Skins For Feeding Roses. I’ve rehomed two rose bushes from my dad’s garden and although they haven’t died, they haven’t flowered at all. I’ll definitely be trying this to see if I can get a bloom out of either of them!

  3. My Daughter, the Schoolgirl. Delightful. A big step for children and adults, nice to keep some momentos, as time can pass so quickly.

  4. I like looking at your food ideas and really enjoyed ‘I love potatoes’ because I love them too. Baked, mashed, chipped, they are so versatile.

  5. I enjoyed the elf takeover posts. We have never done Elf on the Shelf before but will be doing so this year. Ive got lots of ideas already.

  6. I loved reading Attempting Landscape Photography, i’am a portrait photographer and landscapes is something I struggle with.

  7. I love your Project Garden – especially as I created my own flower bedding area and veggie patch this year when we moved

  8. I like the idea of Word of the Week. I love words and have studied a few languages. I shall look at GROUNDWORK in a different way now.
