Using Zapper To Sell Books

As you may know, I have a lot of books. I like books! But with heaving bookshelves, a couple of weeks ago I decided to have a big clear-out. I have books that I have read and knew I wouldn’t re-read and then a stack of books I had had as university text books. I then had books that I had been given and had been on my to be read pile for a couple of years, so I decided to be ruthless and pass them on. If I hadn’t picked them up in all of those months, I was Read more >

Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 01: Variety Kit Review

We were recently invited to try out a new and innovative product, the Nintendo Labo for the Nintendo Switch. I opted to try the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 01: Variety Kit to review and share with you, so the kids have been giving it a go. I confess when I first heard about the Nintendo Labo, I couldn’t really get my head around what it was and how it worked. I’m not much of a gamer these days, though having grown up as games consoles developed (Oh my, how I loved Sonic, Mario and Tetris!) I’m not completely hopeless. But this Read more >

Each month there is a theme to the kit and with each theme there’s a meaning behind the kit to help inspire Read more >

Peoples Host Review – A Company I’d Recommend

Around eighteen months ago I had had enough of my blog hosts so I looked around to change over to someone else, someone better. At that time I was nervous about how difficult the whole process might be, but I was really pleased with how my new hosts, Peoples Host, handled it all and kept me informed throughout the process. I wrote ‘I switched web hosting and it wasn’t painful‘ back then if you’d like to read more about how it all went. Today I want to share this, Peoples Host Review – A Company I’d Recommend, as I cannot Read more >

Easter Fun with Cadbury Peter Rabbit!

Oh my, we had the BEST delivery last week, a bundle full of Cadbury Easter eggs. Can there be anything better than being picked up from school and told that when you get home you’ll be having some Easter fun and going on an Easter egg hunt? Not your average Wednesday afternoon, so the kids were thrilled! We kicked it off by getting their Easter bonnets ready, and then they happily donned them and embarked upon their Easter egg hunt. I thought it would be a lot of hassle, time and expense, so I simply kept putting it off. And it seems that I’m not alone, as only 1 in 10 parents in the UK has officially appointed guardians for their children and written wills. Well, thanks for an invitation to do so Read more >
