#BringBackPaper Stationery Swap

Did you all enjoy Papery Peep last week? I loved looking at everyone’s month in paper, and it was really lovely to see several people joining in with the activities, too. The Papery Peep linky opens here on the last Wednesday of every month, runs for a week, and is for you to share any papery posts, and you can update us on your ReadWriteCreate challenge if you’re joining in with that. Remember, if you don’t want to blog them all, or you’re simply not a blogger, you can share what you’re up to on Instagram or Twitter using the #BringBackPaper hash tag, or please do post photos to my Facebook wall for us all to see. I do like seeing paper!

As promised, February is Stationery Swap month! I announced last month, along with the year’s challenges, all that #BringBackPaper would involve, and I had a few people keen to get involved with this one, so I’m hoping it’ll be fun.

stationery swap

It’s nice and easy, and I’ll arrange it from here and pair you all up.

It’s up to you what you include in your swap, and if you’re anything like me, you’ll have loads of little bits and bobs anyway and can put a package together like that. For example, I’m thinking as I have several (read: a huge quantity) of pretty writing paper, I’ll include a selection of those, along with a few extras such as washi tape and stickers, and maybe a little jotter or some such. I don’t want to be too specific as one of you will get me as your swap partner, and I don’t want to ruin the surprise! Or just pop and get a few bits in, if you prefer, though I’d recommend not spending more than a fiver, as I want this to be easy and fun and a way sharing out pretty stationery, not a costly activity!

To join in, email me at [email protected] with your name and postal address details and I’ll pair you and get back to you with your partners details. You absolutely do not have to be a blogger to join in, it’s open to all. I can only do overseas if I have another person interested in doing it from the same country, in the interests of keeping postage costs down, but feel free to send over your details if you’re outside the UK and I’ll see what I can do! All swaps should be received in February, so please do ensure you get them posted in time. It would be lovely if you could share a snap of the little bundle you receive, too. I’m so looking forward to sending mine and seeing everyone else’s!

All make sense? Please just tweet me or comment if you’re unsure on anything. Are you up for it?

And do remember that I do accept guest paper-related posts here, so if you’ve something you’d love to share, please just email me 🙂

  1. Who doesn’t love stationary?! I used to buy really lovely paper for work (really it was a joy to write on) then I realised I was spending a lot because I went through an A4 notepad a week; I switched to the office-provided books. But although they didn’t look pretty, there’s still something magical in opening a new page to actually write something on.
I’m not going to get involved in this swap – having a two year old and a newborn is pretty hectic enough – but I’m jealous of all you who do!

  2. Oh, this looks amazing. I *may* have had to run for my train today after deciding I definitely had enough time to stop at the Paperchase at Paddington on my way home.

  3. Oh, my goodness, hope it is still ok to join, I love stationery, have a cupboard full of it and was just wondering the other day whom I could share it with! Perfect, sign me in!xx
