A New Season Must Mean New Clothes

With summer looking like it’s finally here, my thoughts are turning to a more summery wardrobe. I’m thinking sandals and flip flops rather than boots and trainers, and strappy tops, flippy skirts and floaty dresses, rather than jeans and jumpers. Oh, when I say I’m thinking of a summery wardrobe, I do mean for Boo, you understand? I always prioritise dressing the kids nicely over myself!

Over at Melijoe, they now have a great range of summer clothes in, and the kinds of things that I can see Boo wanting to wear are…

Doesn’t it make you yearn for the heat just looking at them? I love the sun. Summer is definitely my favourite season.

I always look to sort the children’s clothes out first, though. Of course they grow each year, which necessitates new buys, and I do like shopping for them. Now I know I need to look for myself, too. I’d be quite happy wearing pretty much all of the above! I just want a summer, an actual summer, where I can wear long skirts and flip flops each day and potter about in the garden while the kids have fun out there.

Come on, summer!
