Word of the Week 19/1/18

Hello and welcome to Word of the Week!

If you’re new here, Word of the Week is a nice and simple weekly linky, with everyone welcome to pop by and share. You reflect back on the past week and sum it up in one word. Then share your word with us in a blog post, with as little or as much explanation as you like. It’s a fun and friendly linky, so please do be lovely and visit as many of the other blogs as you can and share with them your thoughts on their words and weeks. I do comment on every entry to the linky, and if you add the Word of the Week badge to your post to help spread the ‘word’, I also tweet them out.

My word of the week this week is:

My computer has been driving me mad this week!

It’s been slowing down for a while but this week it has been very temperamental in connecting to the internet. There’s nothing wrong with the Wi-Fi signal, so the problem appears to be with the computer. It’s taken me ages to get the simplest of tasks done, I’ve not been able to work when I’ve needed to and I have had to resort to studying using my phone, which really isn’t ideal.

I like a desktop, but I have spent the last few days looking around for a good laptop deal. They’re cheaper to buy (and this was not a purchase I was planning on making) and they will offer me more flexibility working out of the house when I increase my hours here after graduating. The search for the best one continues, but I need to sort it soon or I may go mad!

So I will apologise in advance in case I don’t manage to get round and comment this week, it depends on whether the computer allows it. The same goes for future posts for a while until I sort something out. So frustrating!

What about you? What one word sums up your week best?

Please grab the badge, link up and share…

  1. What a nightmare ! we are so dependent upon our computers aren’t we. I dread anything going wrong with with mine and certainly couldn’t do without it. I hope you can find a suitable replacement soon. Have a great weekend x

  2. oh dear, it’s never nice when your computer starts to give up! I used to love my desktop and never thought I’d get used to a lap top but I have to admit I love it now. Good luck in finding a new and perfect replacement. Thanks for hosting #wotw x
