The Ultimate Stationery Gift Guide

Oh, I am excited about today’s post! With Christmas on the way, it only seems right that I spend time trawling around finding pretty stationery for you to ogle which is obviously a hardship for me, so I do hope you all appreciate it….

So, here it is, the ultimate stationery gift guide, and really, if you can’t find something here to put on your Christmas list, then you’re no stationery addict at all!

For Snail Mailing

These picks are all from Zazzle, and we have two pretty postcards, a Hello Gorgeous wrap around label, and stickers just perfect for sealing envelopes, saying ‘Sent with Love’, ‘Save the Mail, Send a Letter’ and the third one is two little birds with letters in their beaks. All cute! You can buy the stickers by the sheet, and the postcards individually.

For Snail Mailing again

Ah, the fabulous Angela Chick. Fun, bold, colourful designs, she has a great range of cards available, perfect for popping a note through to a friend. She also has invitations, notebooks (you’ll see one in this guide), tote bags, t-shirts and more.

For Snail Mailing again!

How gorgeous are these from jhcards? Each card is handmade and there’s bound to be a design to suit everyone. I like the simplicity and elegance of each card and love that the envelopes all co-ordinate beautifully. Orders include complimentary gift wrapping until 31st December, too.

For Decorating

Now I am one for washi tape, so Christmas washi tape is just irrestible to me! I’ll use these on my snail mail next month, my planner and my Christmas cards. It’s all from the Fox and Star, and this selection are all Masté, a brand I’d heard of but not tried before. I have to say that the quality is very good, a nice thick tape which tears neatly just when you need it to and not before! Then we have that very cute decorating correction tape, a crocodile design in this case and there are other designs available, too. It works like other correction tapes, but it’s not plain white that comes out, but fun little crocodiles! Again, great for snailmail, planners and scrapbooking.

For Relaxing

For relaxing

Ah, everyone needs a colouring book in their life to relax with, don’t they? This gorgeous Secret Paris colouring for mindfulness book is available from Qwerkity, and is full of illustrations of the streets and sights of Paris, the fashion, the food and more. The paper is thick, and I’ve been testing out those colouring pencils there with it. The magic multi-coloured pencils, also from Qwerkity, are each made up of three colours which creates a shading effect as you scribble away. The pretty compact colouring pencils are from Made to Charm, and are presented in a lovely little case, handy for carrying round.

For Organising

For Organising

Oh, what a beautiful Filofax! I adore that aquamarine colour and the embossing gives it a really special touch. With inserts for week to views and plenty of space for to-dos and lists, it is also a great size to carry around with you. This is the Filofax Saffiano Compact Organiser from Pen Heaven, which can also arrive beautifully gift-wrapped from them. Then we have an A4 weekly desk planner with washi tape design and tear-off sheets. Each sheet is lovely and thick, with plenty of space to write.

For Writing

For Writing

The Lamy Safari Vista Rollerball pen writes beautifully, and has become a firm favourite here. The Sun Doll Gel Ink pens are designed with little dolls and such sweet tags reading ‘I love you’, quirky and cute. The Kaweco Skyline Sport Fountain pen is available in four different colours and varying nib sizes and is proving to be the perfect size to carry with my Filofax, feeling that extra bit special to be writing with a fountain pen for a change. The Worther Shorty Soft-Grip Pencil is something different, as not only is it very comfortable to write with, it can also be used on wood, metal, paper and plastic, and it comes with 2 spare leads. The crown pencil is fun and pretty and all can then be popped into the cherry blossoms pencil case for safekeeping.

For Scribblings

For scribblings

All of these notebooks are from Made to Charm, and as you can see from the inset photo at the bottom right there, two of the notebooks are illustrated throughout, too. They are paperbacks, so nice and light for popping in your bag ready for your thoughts to be scribbled down at any random time.

For more scribblings

An eclectic selection of notebooks here, from Angela Chick’s funky pens design, to Scaramanga’s embossed leather journal (I do love that antiqued brass closure, too) to Zazzle’s personalised selections of pocket notebook and matching post-its – something for every taste.

For The Gift That Keeps On Giving

Welcome to the Happy Paper Club! A monthly stationery subscription service, a lovely way to receive new stationery and very happy mail at the same time. The box above is a typical example of what you’ll receive, though of course every single month it differs. In the box above, which fits through a letter box, there are two postcards, four bookmarks, a handy tear-off to-do list pad, a blank inside greetings card, a pen and a cute little cupcake mirror. Plenty to keep you busy!

So tell me, have I tempted you?

Disclosure: I received these items FOC for the purpose of this gift guide

  1. What a fabulous selection of cards Jocelyn, a great gift guide. I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned that I love stationery, I might have told you LOL! Funnily enough I was thinking about you the other day as I’m pondering a range and went to a greeting card seminar the other day. Just need to decide what might work although I suspect planning will take a while!

  2. Ooh all of this is very tempting! I was thinking of getting a stationery gift for teacher presents and personalised post-it’s sounds perfect. Such a lovely round up, I’m saving this for when I need inspiration xx
