Pumpaloons Review & Give-Away

The children have been having an absolute blast with Pumpaloons from Drumond Park

Pumpaloons 3D Box - left HRPumpaloons
The stomping, romping, pushing, pumping, sitting, squashing game for kids!
It is a race to blow up Stripeyloon and Spottyloon and the first player to make their Pumpaloon stand all the way up is the winner.
Push with your hands, stomp with your foot or if you’re puffed out, just sit on it! It’s healthy and fun – all in one!

For 2 players
Ages 4+
£ 19.99

The game’s concept is very simple. 2 people race against each other to pump up their Pumpaloon as quickly as they can, and the first to fully inflate theirs is the winner.

Boo has enjoyed playing this one with her cousin, T…

The shots are blurry as there is a serious amount of activity going on there – they are really going for it!

The game is fast-paced, energetic and fun. There’s no turn-taking or taking time to set it up, as it’s good to go straight-away.There’s lots of giggling and breathlessness involved, and the children love playing with the inflated Pumpaloons after the game has finished, too. Here’s my nephew enjoying a hug with them, so you get a feel for their size, and a little photo bombing by Boo!

They feel really durable, and at 4, Boo can set this up and play it herself. In fact, she frequently inflates a Pumpaloon for Little Man to sit next to while he eats his breakfast! A game and a friend 😉

The only thing that I’m not keen on with this one, is that it takes a while to tidy away. Once inflated and the kids have wondered off, it takes me a while to deflate them to get them back into their box and away again. Of course, by that time, they want to play again! Not an issue for the game player, of course, just the tidier!

Lots of fun, easy to play, and burns off a fair bit of energy, too! Brilliant game.

The good people at Drumond Park have offered me one game to give away to one of my lucky readers. To be in with a chance of winning a Pumpaloons game, simply use the rafflecopter below. Open to UK entrants only and competition closes 28th July 2014. Good luck!

I like that it will use up a lot of energy! Some days I just don’t know where my daughter gets it from….. wish she would share!

  2. this is a game that my girls are forever asking me to buy so that’s what makes it appealing to me 🙂 great review, your two look like they had so much fun, not sure if I’d have the energy to join in 😉 x #triedtested

  3. I love the fact it is fast paced and no taking turns! My little boy is only 4 and sometimes get bored very quickly if the game is slow moving or he has to wait ages for a turn lol! x

  10. I like the fact that it gets the kids being active and burning some energy off. Looks great fun too 🙂

  11. this game really looks like fun and a great way to get kids moving around seems fun exciting and using up energy is great as often at times you can run out of ideas to entertain your little ones

I like the simple concept not loads of rules to confuse young children, I think my 3 year old would even get the hang of it.
