Papery Peep July 2016

It’s Papery Peep time already! July has flown by, hasn’t it? I don’t know quite where it went. I know that I didn’t get as much reading done as I normally do, though I struggle to put my finger on exactly why. I need to get through loads of books in August to make up for it, I think! Here’s what I did manage to read..

Books Read in July

Looking at it now, I’d say it’s a fairly eclectic mix!

I then want to share some lovely stationery goodies that I’ve received in the post. The first is from a new stationery subscription company, Proper Post

Proper Post box

I shared the full unboxing vlog last week so if you want to see more, take a look at that and do pop on over to their website for more information if they tempt you. This month’s theme was around ‘summer is a state of mind’ and I absolutely loved it! It included all of the pictured items and a few more, a real pleasure to open.

On that subject, I shared a list of gorgeous stationery subscriptions here last week, so do check that one out if you fancy receiving pretty papery packages monthly.

I also had this new A4 hardback notebook from Pirongs

Pirongs Notebook

They specialise in planners, diaries and notebooks, and all can be customised.

For mine, I decided to use one for my Open University module this year, hence the little circle with A326 in it on the cover there. There are so many different cover choices, and you can then also choose the colour of your ribbons and spiral binding.

Inside, there are a huge number of templates you can add in, brilliant for planners and life planners which would have tempted me had I not started up my bullet journal last month. I did take advantage of adding in a few page titles to make it feel more organised..

And I added a pen tab holder and also received these handy sticky tabs…

Pirongs Notebook extras

Last year I worked through a couple of A5 notebooks, so this book should see me through the year with it’s 160 lined pages. I’ve added in a few sections at the front along with a study planner, then towards the back I have created a section to start planning for my End of Module Assessment so that I can make notes for that throughout the course.

It’s really good quality, feeling sturdy as well as pretty, and it’s making me eager to get studying again.

I do have a 10% off code if you fancy creating your own planner or notebook, valid until the end of this month: WKR7AHX. They are fun to design and create and I can now see me ‘needing’ one of these for each of my university modules going forward! You can find out more about the planners and take a peek inside over on YouTube.

This month over on YouTube I’ve shared my Bullet Journal set up for July, my incoming happy mail, and an unboxing of my Proper Post stationery subscription box, so there’s plenty to Peep at there, if you fancy it.

So what about you? How’s your month been in paper? Feel free to link up any papery blogs, vlogs or Instagram photos below, showing us your paper!

The linky is open until midnight 2nd August 2016. And if you’re linking up a blog post, please do pop the badge on and spread the word! Thanks.

Disclosure: I received the items pictured FOC for the purposes of this post, though all words and opinions remain my own

  1. Proper Post had shared this blog and now I’ve ordered the Unique Planner as well .. oops!! Been browsing through your blog pages and I could sit and read all day 🙂

  2. A holidays are great for fitting in a bit more reading, aren’t they? I do love settling down with a good book 🙂

  3. That planner looks fab, love that it’s customisable. And I have to agree – tea is good at any time. Not quite sure where July went either which is why I’ve only just managed to join in 🙂
