Papery Peep April 2016

This month I’ve been capturing a few of my papery moments this month on camera, from snail mail to stationery, so here’s a glimpse…

My #bringbackpaper stationery swap has arrived! How utterly gorgeous?

This is a page from the beautiful Colour With Me, Mum colouring book that’s available to buy from 1st May 2016. My girl and I have loved sitting down to do this together (she loves that I have to do way more work than her, too!) and it has sweet conversation and one to one time suggestions dotted throughout. I’d definitely recommend it, and I do also have one up for grabs over on my Instagram feed and there’s still time to enter that, so don’t miss out!

How gorgeous?! These are notecards from @got2jot and I’ve a set available to give away in celebration of @natstatweek! They are the Wild Thing animal notecards for kids (let’s be honest, I’d use these myself too!) from www.got2jot.co.uk and are just one glimpse of the whole host of stationery loveliness available there – do pop over for a look! To be in with a chance of winning them, you just need to follow me, like the post and tag a friend below. The competition ends at midnight 1st May 2016 and is open to UK entrants only. The winner will be drawn at random within 24 hours of the competition closing and announced on this post. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Instagram.

And it’s another papery competition with this one! In celebration of National Stationery Week, the lovely Sarah at Got 2 Jot is offering one of my fabulous readers the chance to win these cute notecards. It’s all about getting kids writing as #writingmatters, though to be honest, I’d use these myself, too!

And finally, it is a studying snap, a momentous studying snap as this was yesterday when I completed the final unit of this year’s module.

Yes, I have finished all of my reading now, hooray! There’s just one more assignment to write which is due in next week so I’ll be getting cracking on that soon, and then a few weeks of revision before my exam at the start of June – a treat to look forward to!

My #BringBackPaper Pledge

I thought I’d only read one or two books this month, but I’ve just checked my book journal and it turns out I’ve read 5! It’s been a mixed bag with The Library of Shadows by Mikkel Birkegaard, Because of Miss Bridgerton by Julia Quinn (one of my favourite authors and she did not disappoint), An Unsuitable Job For a Woman by PD James, Trust Me, I’m a Vet by Cathy Woodman and The Death Artist by Jonathan Santlofer.

I have of course been colouring, and I’ve even provided photographic evidence this month! And again, a month without buying new stationery, which has been tough as I was in TK Maxx last weekend and Paperchase have emailed me trying to lure me to buy! My beautiful stationery swap goodies definitely helped stave off the stationery pangs, though.

So how about you? Do share any papery posts here, whether they be books, paper crafts, planners, stationery picks – it all goes.

The linky will close at midnight Tuesday 5th April 2016.

How’s your month been in paper?

Oh, and do pop back next week when I’ll be talking more about #BringBackPaper on Instagram

  1. Some beautiful stationery there!! I had done so well in not buying anything this month but today had to buy new pens (boring old biros for work!) and i’m starting bullet journalling, so naturally had to buy some supplies!
