Our First Croome Park Outing

In amongst all of the rain that we’ve been having lately, we had a dry day forecast on Sunday so we decided to take advantage of our National Trust membership and get out and about.

We went to Croome Park, in Worcestershire. A huge estate to ramble around…

And as it was windy, Boo loved being blown away!

And to make the walk more exciting, racing Daddy is always fun..

There was a little church to visit..

and a stunning house to explore…

All rounded off with lunch in the cafe, to the kids’ delight – they love eating out!

We were only there for 2-3 hours, and only managed to get round half of it, so we will definitely be back. We can imagine spending many more hours there on a warmer day, taking a picnic, playing on the land, roaming all of the pathways and outbuildings – another Reading adventure just waiting to happen πŸ™‚

  1. Isn’t Croome just fantastic? They have cycling routes and you can canoe down the river on certain dates in the year too-we’re hoping to investigate those this year. I’m do glad you enjoyed it πŸ™‚
