I’m Loving….Wrendale Designs Stationery

For Christmas I received some stationery. No surprise there, I know. My aunt and cousin bought me a beautiful new foxy writing set and notepad from Wrendale Designs, that I shared last week when launching BringBackPaper in 2016. I’ve started using the letter set and it feels so luxurious and it’s gorgeous to write on, even managing to make my appalling handwriting look half decent! So when Wrendale Designs got in touch with me about their new Snails & Pigtails range I jumped at the chance to share it with you here.

Wrendale Designs Snails and Pigtails

How pretty is this? Pictured here clockwise from the top we have: letter writing set, 2 greetings cards, pack of thank you cards, an A5 and A6 doodle pad, along with a box of coloured pencils, with prices starting at £2.40. Here’s a closer look at them…

The illustrations are so delicate and evocative of a simpler time. The colours are soft and calming, the images sweet and the paper quality is very good. They are a pleasure to write and doodle on, with both pens and pencils.

This is branded as children’s stationery, so I have shared this bundle with Boo (begrudgingly, I’m not going to lie!) and asked her for her thoughts on it.

Boo loves the colours and designs, especially the little girls and the cute snails. She has already starting writing and drawing in her doodle pad, and the small A6 one is a lovely size to take out and about, too.

I adore kids stationery. I am always on the lookout for it, as is Boo now. I wrote last year about the benefits of pen pals for children, which I think is such a lovely hobby for kids as well as great writing practice. I also ensure we always send out thank you cards, and Boo’s often writing and drawing in her journals and Little Man has just received his first proper notepad for Christmas and has started a little mark-making in there which is very sweet to see. I’m so pleased to have discovered the Snails & Pigtails range as I can see it enticing many a child (and adult!) to put pen to paper.

To celebrate the new range, I do have a notepad and a letter set up for grabs now. To be in with a chance of winning them, enter using the rafflecopter below. The competition is open to UK entrants only, and closes at 12am 8th February 2016.

  1. They are so retro! When I was little I had a duvet and matching pillow set with a design almost the same! I cannot remember the name of the design but the memory is still there!

  2. i have so many thoughts and idea, not to mention job lists and general mummsy things i have to remember i always need a notebook on my desk to jot down as i think of these things and love the little owl notebook and like me the owl looks a little worse for wear 🙂

  3. I’m a huge lover of Wrendale – I already have their biscuit tin, cracker tin, tea/coffee/sugar canisters and some of their cards. I’d love to get their Highland Cow print next – but this new line of stationery is also adorable! x

  4. I love the vintage bears and I’m really happy to see this post as I’m trying to encourage my daughter to write letters instead of emails!

  5. How strange. I was looking at some gorgeous nature inspired mugs in a posh shop yesterday and, browsing through the Wrendale Designs range today, see that what I was tempted to buy was produced by them. So, although I Iove their stationery, I love their mugs with robins, cats, dogs, pigs etc even more.

  6. The old bears are very sweet, what a lot of lovely stationery I’ve not seen this kind of stationery before so pretty and unique!

  7. I love their mugs, the little hedgehog one and robin are so cute. It’s difficult to narrow it down as there are so many beautiful things. This stationery set is one of the nicest I’ve seen, the characters remind me of the Alfie books by Shirley Hughes.I have to admit I’m a complete stationery geek and I’m sure you can never have enough. If I won I’d be over the moon, thank you for the chance x

  8. These would make a lovely present for my granddaughter’s birthday as she loves stationery. I think it must be genetic
